A Bookish Valentine's Day with my Book Boyfriends (2020)

A Bookish Valentine's Day with my Book Boyfriends (2020)

Happy Valentines Day my lovelies!!

February has been a crazy monthand not just because it's my birthday month either. *wink wink* But no, it's been crazy since Christmas. However, I feel like I'm finally starting to get back onto my feet again and getting ahead of schedule.

Speaking of schedules, I'm also finally getting a better posting schedule for my YouTube Channel. I'm now trying to post about two or three times a week.

So far this week I was able to get two Valentines tags up! Including the Valentine's Day Sweetheart Book Tag and the Valentine's Day Book Tag.

[add videos here]

Anyways, beside dealing with life's struggles, I've been totally obsessing over Supernatural (especially Dean Winchester) and so I'm interested, who's your book boyfriends?

Mine are mainly Damon Salvatore and Dean Winchester. *shrugs* What can I say?

If you're reading this, than you probably know I've been rebooting my blog since I moved from Wordpress to Blogger. I have to say, it's one of the best decisions I've made regarding my blog. I'm super happy to be getting back into writing blog post for you guys and cannot wait to connect with you all!

Much love as always,
Faith

QOTD: If you were to write a Valentine’s Day letter to one of your book boyfriends, who would it be and what would it say? I’d either write one to Damon Salvatore or Dean Winchester...or both. 😉 And I’d tell them how much their fictional existence means to me. Plus, a lot of other lovey-dovey stuff. ____________________________________________ I feel like it’s been forever once again since the last time I posted, but I’m super excited about my Valentine’s Day pictures! Plus, P.S. I Still Love You will be coming out soon!!!! 😍 I’m so excited. Anyways, a quick update for you guys who don’t know, it’s been SUPER crazy for me and I haven’t felt up to being as social as I usually am. However, I will be getting back on schedule with everything in the coming week or two. I have a new YouTube video going up today as well so stay tuned on my stories for that. ALSO! I’ve officially hit 100 subscribers on YouTube and 2K followers on Instagram within the same two days! Y’all are amazing and you mean the world to me. Thank you once again for that. As always, much love! —Faith

Truth or Dare by Pixie Perkins (Review)

Truth or Dare by Pixie Perkins

Title: Truth or Dare
Series: Standalone
Author: Pixie Perkins
Publisher: Indie Published
Genre: Teen and Young Adult
Ages of Main Characters: Seventeen and Eighteen
Religion: None Mentioned
Josh is a player. Players never change. Or could they?
Madison is what some people call a nerd. but could she turn the player from of his ways?
My Review:

This book is super clean and refreshing, and honestly I already want to reread it. Pixie has such a way of making swoon worthy males (which I might have mentioned to her once or twice lol!) and relatable females. I highly recommend this book for any age but definitely for tweens and teenagers. She is also working on getting My Boyfriend's Best Friend made into paperbacks...so why not give them as gifts?!
As I said, Truth or Dare is completely clean. There are hints of guys using curses but they are cut off before that can mention, so its nothing to work about. This book does not have to be read before or after My Boyfriend's Best friend. However, it is a spinoff of the series, so I do recommend it. Some of the characters make an appearance in this book, but older.
Pixie always makes us question how the book will end and I love that. She leaves such a mystery! Ugh, I could go on forever. This book is perfect for a beach read or just a fast summer read. I highly recommend!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from Pixie Perkins herself. All views expressed are only my honest review.

Meet Me There by Judy Corry (Review)

Title: Meet Me There
Series: RidgeWater High
Author: Judy Corry
Publisher: Indie Published
Genre: Teen and Young Adult
Ages of Main Characters: Seventeen and Eighteen
Religion: Not sure if one was mentioned

My Review:

This book made me feel feelings a book hasn't made me feel in a while. Judy Corry definitely did a excellent job of developing a beautifully created book. I loved it so much I had to get the Kindle version plus the paperback.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves to swoon, laugh, or even get a little emotional. This book makes a perfect read for anytime of year-a cute summer read or a book to curl up with in the winter.
I loved Luke and Ashley's personalities. I love how the author didn't make Luke a male that thinks he needs to be strong all the time. Yes, he didn't tell anyone about his mother, but after we learn Luke is actually an emotional person, he opens up to Ashley about his life. I love that.
For the overall content of the book, it was completely clean from my remembrance.

Content:
This book was overall clean, expect for a few sexual references, and mentions of a jockstrap.

This book was not given to me, I bought this with my own money and choose to review it. All views expressed are only my honest review.

Fate & Fortune Robin Daniels (Review)

Fate & Fortune by Robin Daniels

Title: Fate & Fortune
Author: Robin Daniels
Publisher: Indie Published
Genre: Teen and Young Adult
Ages of Main Characters: Around Seventeen and Eighteen
Religion: None Mentioned
My Review:

I just finished reading Fate and Fortune by Robin Daniels. I loved each and every one of the characters. They had such playful spirits. I loved how first thing in the beginning Bryce told us that he’d loved Paige since they were children, but had never had the nerve to tell her. I also enjoyed all the humor throughout the book.
“Then Jason asked her out first and basically flushed all my hopes down the toilet.” —Bryce.
I’ll be honest, I knew I was gonna love this book right from the start. Lord was I right. I like how respectful Bryce as of Paige and how he protected her even as a fake boyfriend. The book takes place in Texas which is also very intriguing.
Robin really did good on the plot and personalities. I could tell the difference between all the characters.

I loved it when I found out the whole mustang thing. (I won’t spoil it 😉) Not to mention the amazing kiss in the cafeteria. I definitely recommend this book to a mature teen. Probably about the age 16+ depending on the person :)
Content:
Couple mentions of a wiener.
Suggestion of Bryce only dating Paige to get in her pants. (which was definitely not the case.)
Couple mentions of a girl possibly seeing Jason’s goods or experiencing his manhood.
Couple mentions of balls.
One or two mentions of her ex wanting to have sex. (Didn’t happen.)
A mention of tampons jokingly.
A mention of groped jokingly.
A couple making out under the bleachers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from Robin Daniels herself. All views expressed are only my honest review.
